Gst – global system for telematics – review of choosen telematics standards

At this paper there will be presented project major assumptions and their three areas: Rescue – there are guided works at subproject E-MERGE focused on emergency, SAFETY CHANEL for transfer and displaying information’s concerned at road consumer safety; E-FCD- Enhanced Floating Car Data. Mentioned tasks will be realized at four technology platforms: open architecture systems, safety, payment, certification. There will be also presented interaction between GST and COOPERS (Co-operative Systems for Intelligent Road Safety).
