The computerization of offices will be accelerated following the adoption of the Act on the computerization of the activities of entities performing public tasks. Using the Internet in public institutions will become a necessity, as the act imposes specific
obligations related to this medium. The book contains an interpretation of existing legal regulations regarding the use
of the Internet by public institutions. At the same time, it aims to introduce Internet law to those responsible for implementing this network
in state and local government units, as well as to those intending or forced to use the Internet in contacts
with public institutions. In the book, one can find legal issues related to, among others, electronic signatures, the use
of the Internet in administration, the judiciary, the computerization of public procurement, and electronic taxes.
