Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center project is nearing completion!

At the beginning of April this year, detailed design work was completed for the construction of Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center, a gigantic logistics and business center that will be built in the geographical and communication heart of Poland, and at the same time – a national logistics “hub” – within the administrative boundaries of Piotrków Trybunalski.

The Piotrków city region, where the main communication routes leading from south to north and from east to west of Poland intersect, is the most attractive location for conducting logistics operations on a national and European scale. This fact is confirmed by the market trend, in which there is huge interest in the area from commercial real estate investors. There are already several warehouse facilities in the Piotrków region, and more are being built. Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center is a gigantic, 110-hectare, modern logistics and business complex in central Poland. The best location in Piotrków Trybunalski, next to the expressway route of national road No. 8 and E67, and a direct exit from the Katowice Route, ensure this venture significant interest from domestic and European tenants. The presentation of the Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center concept took place in the first days of October 2004 at the Expo Real trade fair in Munich. The construction of the Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center complex will take place in 6 phases. The final building area will be approximately 450,000 square meters. The investment consultant is the company Polish Properties. Colliers International has been selected as the exclusive agent.

Logistic City – Piotrków Distribution Center is a new place for business activities related to warehousing, goods distribution, and light industry production conducted in Poland and Europe. The investment impresses with its scale, as well as the highest global quality standards.

Currently, in cooperation with the renowned British design firm BurksGreen, we have completed the development of the facility’s construction concept. Next, we will select the general contractor for the investment – says Adam Banaszczyk, President of the Management Board of Logistic City. The start of construction for the first phase of the facility – a building with an area of 42,000 sqm – is to take place immediately after finalizing talks with the selected general contractor.

We have engaged renowned international partners to cooperate on the implementation of the entire investment – continues Adam Banaszczyk. – The experienced team ensures the implementation of the project entirely in accordance with the needs and expectations of logistics center users regarding the standards for the realization of such facilities.

In January of this year, the tender for project management was settled, which was won by the company EC Harris. This company has in its portfolio, among others, the implementation of the Essilor factory investment in Warsaw, the Stary Browar Business and Art Center in Poznań, the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, as well as the Firestone factory in Wolsztyn and Tesco shopping centers, and many other projects.
