ABN AMRO Bank N.V. – the largest Dutch bank and one of the leading global financial institutions, and Getronics – an ICT sector company, have signed another, second, this time open-ended agreement for the provision of outsourcing services in the scope of installation and maintenance of MultiCash electronic banking software for the bank’s clients.
The cooperation between the two companies began in January 2004, when ABN AMRO Bank decided to introduce changes to its organizational structure. At that time, a decision was made to sign an outsourcing agreement covering the installation and maintenance of ABN AMRO’s electronic banking products. Getronics was selected as the service provider.
Both parties are satisfied with the cooperation and have unanimously decided to continue it in 2005. Getronics, thanks to a network of local branches located in 13 cities across Poland, is able to intervene in a relatively short time (up to 4 hours from reporting a problem). The signed service agreement, the so-called SLA (Service Level Agreement), specifies the method of service and the maximum time for completing an order. The guarantee of reliable execution of the entrusted task is a leading factor determining the trust of the bank’s clients, who are corporate clients representing various sectors of the economy. Only an international company with proven references and appropriate service facilities, i.e., appropriate competencies and an extensive network of local branches, could undertake such a task.
ABN AMRO and Getronics cooperate with each other in 10 countries around the world: in the Netherlands, where both companies have their headquarters, as well as in Brazil, the United States, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Portugal, and Poland.
