The future of flying

Everyone knows what an airplane is, and even more so, everyone knows that without air transport, no region has a chance for development or keeping pace with the requirements of a united Europe.

An international seminar on this topic will be held in Poznań on February 8-9. It will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, the Assembly of European Regions, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Regional Development, regional and local governments, representatives of Polish regional airports, business environment institutions and the tourism industry, foreign and domestic experts, and partners of the EUROPLANE project. The full name of the project is “European Union Regions Operational Project Leading to Air Transport Network Cooperation and Information Exchange”.

The conference is organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in cooperation with the Poznań-Ławica Henryk Wieniawski Airport.

On February 8, at 11:00 AM, the Airport Information Day will begin at the “Mercure” hotel in Poznań, and on February 9, at 9:00 AM, a workshop under the EUROPLANE project will be held at the Poznań City Hall (Plac Kolegiacki 17), dedicated to regional instruments intended for the development of airport infrastructure. The goal of the workshop will be to present and discuss the possibilities of using EU tools for co-financing projects in the field of airport infrastructure, as well as to present the experiences of foreign partners in acquiring and implementing funds.
