At the end of 2006, a joint venture company, SINFOS Poland, was established in agreement with the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing – GS1 Poland. SINFOS GmbH is a subsidiary of Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany and operates Europe’s leading electronic catalog. This catalog is used by approximately 2,500 companies in over 10 countries for the exchange of master data. The newly formed joint venture, SINFOS Poland, has set itself the goal of providing SINFOS catalog services while simultaneously integrating the existing Polish electronic catalog, EANIC.
