Ladies and Gentlemen!
Continuing our series of expanding free access to knowledge, we would like to invite you to read the papers presented during the International Logistics Conference LOGISTICS 2002, which took place in Poznań on May 14-15, 2002.
The event was organized by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, in cooperation with the Greater Poland branch of the Polish Logistics Society and the German Technische Fachhochschule Wildau.
The goal of the conference, held under the theme “Flexible supply chains – concepts, experiences, challenges,” was to present experiences in designing and operating modern supply chains capable of reacting quickly to changes in their environment.
We hope that the presented materials will not only bring the discussed trends and concepts closer to you but, despite the passage of several years, will still be helpful in solving problems in your companies.
(based on the Introduction to the conference materials)
For a good start, we present the paper by Stefan Abt “Supply chains and logistics systems”.
We wish you a fruitful read.
