The highlight of the first day of the 16th International Trade Fair for Logistics, Transport and Telematics EUROCARGO, held in Cologne, was the award ceremony for the logistics prize presented for the first time in the history of the fair by the editorial teams of six European logistics magazines. We are pleased to note that the honor of presenting the Goldene Spitze award fell to editor Tomasz Janiak from “LOGISTYKA”. The jury, composed of editors from the magazines: LOGISTIK HEUTE, LOGISTRA, TRANSPORT, VERKEHR, INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT JOURNAL LOGISTICS WORLDWIDE, and LOGISTYKA, after reviewing 30 applications submitted by exhibitors, decided to honor the solution from the German company BIOLTEC GmbH.
The EUROCARGO trade fair, held in Cologne from May 30th to June 1st, 2006, features 228 exhibitors from 14 countries. The fair’s program also includes many accompanying events. The organizers have prepared as many as 20 thematic conferences, in which 85 speakers are participating. One of the sessions will be devoted to the development of logistics in Poland. During the session, the “Report on the State of Logistics in Poland”, prepared by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, will be presented.
