Grupa Żywiec has decided to use BCC’s outsourcing services for the administration and monitoring of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure integration platform, one of the components of the SAP NetWeaver platform.
The SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI) environment ensures communication within the complex IT environment of Grupa Żywiec. The company’s IT structure consists of SAP systems and other solutions used in the individual entities of the Group.
SAP XI ensures, among other things, the integration of Grupa Żywiec’s SAP systems with the system used in the distribution companies of Żywiec Trade. The scale of the solution at Grupa Żywiec is evidenced by the number of electronic messages handled by the SAP XI platform: over 20,000 per day. Under the contract, BCC consultants administer the SAP XI environment and conduct constant monitoring of the correctness of communication conducted via this platform.
