Colliers International, a leading advisor in the commercial real estate market, has presented the results of a report on the situation in the warehouse space market in Poland in the first half of 2011.
The first half of 2011 brought a visible increase in the number of new warehouse investments. In two quarters, nearly 140,000 sq m were completed in ten projects, with over 75% of this in the second quarter. Total warehouse space resources in Poland at the end of the first half of 2011 amounted to approximately 6.55 million sq m. Currently, approximately 347,000 sq m of modern warehouse space is under active construction.
