To this end, the SPOCS research project (“Simple Procedures Online for Cross-border Services”) was established. The research task of the SPOCS project is to create interoperability of ICT systems, which will allow for overcoming technological barriers in data exchange between EU countries. Thanks to this, different document formats and communication protocols used in the territory of individual member states will not constitute an obstacle for entrepreneurs wishing to operate outside their home country. The introduction of such an integration platform will contribute to the creation of Points of Single Contact that will be able to serve clients and mediate in their contacts electronically, rather than just providing information about existing procedures in a given country. The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing is participating in the SPOCS project upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Economy.
