The new order will allow Wizz Air to strengthen and develop its network of connections from 11 operational bases in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Ukraine. It will enable the addition of new routes to the 130 already existing over the next 10 years.
– The new order is in line with our development plan and underscores our aspirations to become the most frequently chosen airline in Central and Eastern Europe. The efficiency of Airbus aircraft is extremely important for us to keep our service costs as low as possible, so that ticket prices can remain at the lowest level. The new agreement shows the nature of our business, even in the difficult market conditions – said József Váradi, CEO of Wizz Air.
