In its development plans, InBev has scheduled the construction of a modern warehouse by 2010, located just 3 km from the current site. Currently, the Armentieres facility, which operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, employs a total of 57 staff. Wincanton will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles. According to the plans, it will handle approximately 150 trucks. InBev chose Wincanton, primarily appreciating its expertise in personnel management and its experience in the beverage and real estate markets.
– We started our cooperation with Wincanton because it is a company that perfectly understands InBev’s needs. We also appreciated its flexibility. Wincanton incorporated our individual expectations into its action plan. The ability to forecast future challenges is also of great importance to us – said Jan Depotter, Logistics Director for InBev in France.
