The cooperation involves the creation of two twin warehouses for Hoop in Poznań and Mszczonów. These facilities will serve as distribution buffers for retail chains used by Hoop Polska during the summer season. At peak times, the warehouse space will reach 10,000 sq m for each location. The scope of services provided by DAMCO, in addition to storage, also includes the distribution of finished products from the buffer warehouses to Hoop’s customers. Due to the specific nature of the company’s products, which are covered by the HACCP policy, DAMCO is also responsible for batch tracking throughout the entire process.
– This is a difficult project for many reasons. Firstly, the high dynamics of inflows and outflows force a very high level of flexibility on the logistics operator. Secondly, we had a short, one-month time frame to prepare the infrastructure and the team. Thirdly, Hoop Polska is a very “well-organized” company, requiring maximum professionalism from its partner. We are all the more pleased that, through commercial negotiations, the company recognized DAMCO as a trustworthy partner with the necessary knowledge and experience in such projects.
