The Wincanton Logistics Forum is once again organizing the „Wincanton Talent Forge” competition. Paid internships at Wincanton branches are up for grabs. An additional prize for two individuals distinguished by the company is a trip abroad to a logistics conference. Meanwhile, the winners of last year’s edition of the competition will soon begin their internships at Wincanton.
„Wincanton Talent Forge” is a competition intended for students in the last three years of studies specializing in logistics. It takes into account both academic results (GPA above 4.0), as well as attitude and engagement in classes, and a special interest in logistics (participation in scientific circles, outstanding semester projects, etc.).
For the winners selected by university committees, Wincanton provides paid monthly internships at its branches, and after their completion, the company will additionally select two students who will receive the main prize – a trip to an international logistics conference. Substantive supervision over the competition is provided by the Scientific Council represented by dr hab. prof. AE Danuta Kisperska-Moroń from the Department of Economic Logistics at the University of Economics in Katowice and prof. zw. dr. hab. Włodzimierz Rydzkowski, head of the Department of Transport Policy at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk.
