The FLT LPG forklift supply program ensures continuity of gas supply, its high quality and safe use. This is related to the gas cylinder filling system in bottling plants and the procedures applied there.
For safety reasons, every properly filled cylinder should have a plastic seal on the valve. This guarantees that the cylinder was filled in a legal bottling plant. The plastic seal should bear the same company name as the cylinder. You should avoid cylinders that do not have a seal, have a seal without a name, or have a name different from the one indicated on the cylinder. You should also avoid cylinders that only have a paper label with the company name. For quick profit, many companies fill other people’s cylinders without maintaining safety standards.
There are several dozen companies operating on the Polish market that have registered their own cylinder colors. All of them struggle with the problem of illegal gas cylinder filling. A cylinder filled in a professional bottling plant contains a so-called gas cushion, guaranteeing safety even with a very large temperature difference. The gas cushion provides a reserve of space in the cylinder for the expansion (due to temperature) of the liquid gas. Such a safe cushion is achieved by filling the cylinder to 85%. A gas explosion can also be caused by damage to the safety valve in the cylinder. This defect cannot be detected outside a legal bottling plant.
