Safety in warehouse rack operation – part 1
Part I of the article described the occupational safety hazards in a warehouse that can be caused by warehouse racks.
Technical irregularities regarding the design and construction of racks (in particular, the lack of additional elements and rack safety equipment), as well as irregularities in the assembly of racks, were pointed out. Due to the very significant impact these irregularities have on the safe operation of racks, this article will describe them in detail with reference to the requirements specified in the applicable legal regulations and standards.
