Following Masterlink Express in Poland and Bizpak in Lithuania, another company belonging to the French holding company GeoPost has begun the rebranding process. The Armadillo Group will replace its two existing brands, Armadillo and Bizpak, with the international DPD brand. All rebranding activities are expected to be completed by the end of 2007.
The Armadillo and BizPak brands have been present on the Russian courier market since 1991 and 1999, respectively. In 2006, the Armadillo Group’s portfolio was expanded to include one more brand – DPD – as a result of the launch of the international road service DPD Classic.
Representatives of the Management Boards of the Armadillo Group and GeoPost made a joint decision to adopt a single brand that would represent the Group’s international character, European quality, and leading position in the local logistics market.
The rebranding process will take place gradually and will last approximately 8 months. The new logo will be applied to courier vehicles, branches, clothing, and office materials. As in the case of Masterlink, the main marketing element of the campaign will be the slogan “Bizpak is changing to DPD” (“Masterlink is changing to DPD”), which will appear on delivery vehicles, among other places.
– A single, international DPD brand will allow for an increase in the company’s competitiveness. The Armadillo Group will be perceived even more as a high-quality international logistics operator, while simultaneously maintaining its local dynamism and pro-customer approach. – says Sergey Kruglov, General Director of the Armadillo Group.
