Raben Ukraine wins tender organized by Electrolux

Raben Ukraine has signed a three-year contract with Electrolux, thereby opening up a new segment of household appliance services on a large scale in Ukraine. As part of the project, at the distribution center in Brovary near Kyiv, Raben Ukraine offers a full range of warehousing services – including customs clearance and distribution of Electrolux products throughout Ukraine.

Raben Ukraine wins tender organized by Electrolux

The company Raben Ukraine has 8 branches located in: Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Khmelnytskyi. The Kyiv branch of Raben Ukraine is located near Brovary. The distribution center covers an area of over 45,000 square meters. The aforementioned center offers services such as: warehousing, professional cross-docking, and temperature-controlled storage, with the possibility of maintaining various temperature ranges from +2°C to +6°C or higher.

– Every month, Raben Ukraine will provide several thousand square meters of warehouse space to several Electrolux suppliers. The maximum dedicated warehouse space may increase to approximately 10,000 square meters. This will organize and consolidate the process of delivering goods to company sales points located throughout Ukraine, ensuring timely shipments and the highest quality. Shipment statuses will be provided electronically via the Internet, which will significantly simplify and speed up order processing. The companies are also in the process of developing a joint system for controlling the flow of goods from the manufacturer to the final customer, with the possibility of monitoring goods at every stage – said Ruslan Perverziev, Logistics Director at Raben Ukraine.

The agreement assumes a comprehensive supply chain for almost all products of the Electrolux Group, including Electrolux, Zanussi, and AEG-Electrolux products. Small household appliances are stored in a block system, which requires significant modifications to the Warehouse Management System (WMS), involving the introduction of new functionalities, e.g., preparing all orders for a given product (SKU) simultaneously, instead of preparing all SKUs for a single shipment.

– Warehouse employees underwent a month-long training at the Electrolux factory. We have optimized warehouse processes and costs related to human resources. In the Moscow Electrolux product warehouse, the number of people involved in a similar process is 15, in other European countries it is 6, while in our company it is a maximum of 4 people – claims Oleg Zakrevsky, Warehouse Manager at Raben Ukraine. – Our warehouse logistics specialists are making every effort to ensure effective cooperation with Electrolux.
