Raben Logistics has received approval from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection to acquire 100 percent of shares in CJ International Ltd. Sp. z o.o. from Trans Universal Poland SA. The positive opinion from this office initiates a reorganization process in both companies, aimed at presenting customers with a broader and more tailored offer.
The acquisition of CJ International is one of the stages in the development strategy of the Raben Group, which has also acquired the German company Birkart Systemverkehr GmbH and the Dutch company Den Hartogh Dry Logistics in the last few months.
CJ International, which is to be acquired, provides services in the field of full truckload and less-than-truckload international and domestic transport, as well as accompanying activities. The company specializes, among other things, in serving manufacturers in the automotive, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. The company’s revenue in 2004 amounted to 150 million PLN.
