– Schenker is our global partner, building its distribution network based on ProLogis warehouses – said Wojciech Kosiór, Leasing Manager at ProLogis Poland – We are very pleased with our fruitful cooperation and another extended agreement with this client.
Schenker is dynamically developing solutions offered in the area of customer goods management in warehouses and contract logistics. Schenker develops its warehouse offering primarily for the automotive, electronics, and consumer goods industries.
– We treat the location in Teresin as one of the most important, prospective warehouse platforms for our clients in Central Poland. The main factors for choosing this location are convenient transport connections, as well as direct access to a railway siding – said Marek Prószyński, Acting Director of Logistics, DB Schenker. – The proactive and professional customer service offered by ProLogis throughout our long-term cooperation is another reason why we are extending lease agreements with this company across Europe. I am convinced that this agreement, which crowns our long-term cooperation, will bring tangible benefits to Schenker.
ProLogis Park Teresin is a modern distribution complex located in the Teresin municipality, 40 km from the center of Warsaw, directly on the international E-30 route connecting Warsaw, Poznań, and Berlin. The logistics park has access to its own railway siding, which enables intermodal transport for the park’s clients. The facility consists of six buildings with a total area of approximately 160,000 square meters. The warehouse buildings in this park can be adapted for the needs of light production and goods packaging. The park offers its clients excellent communication solutions, enabling efficient distribution of goods both to local markets and to countries in Central and Eastern Europe or Russia. The transaction was brokered by the Colliers real estate agency. In addition to Schenker, clients of ProLogis Park Teresin include companies such as: DHL, Rhenus Contract Logistics, Tesco, Whirlpool, and Viva Manufacturing.
