Poczta Polska focuses on the logistics services market

Poczta Polska intends to fight for an increase in its market share in the logistics sector. Due to the nature of its operations, the company is interested in less-than-truckload (LTL) logistics. The goal? To become one of its leaders. This will allow for the full utilization of the reach and transport capacity of the postal logistics network.

Poczta Polska focuses on the logistics services market

Poczta Polska’s strategy until 2015 assumes an increase in revenue from parcel and courier services, banking and insurance services, and logistics services. Sales plans in the latter area aim to double revenue year over year. Two years ago, Poczta Polska introduced the Pallet Shipment service and today already has a solid customer base. It sets its goal on acquiring new ones.
Poczta Polska has redefined its business client. These include manufacturers, distributors, retail chains, and freight forwarders. The PP portfolio will include both regular shippers – using the operator’s services regularly based on long-term contracts – and smaller companies – entering into ad-hoc agreements and shipping cargo occasionally.
The vehicle fleet owned by Poczta Polska enables flexible, cost-optimal combinations of postal and pallet transport. Logistics platforms are organized based on the existing infrastructure potential.
Promotion of the Pallet Shipment service will be based on direct sales carried out by Poczta Polska sales representatives. All commonly used tools and channels will also be utilized to reach the widest possible group of potential customers.
