Firma Oponiarska Dębica SA is introducing the Passio 2 summer tire to the market. This tire from Dębica is the successor to the Passio – the most popular summer tire in Poland. The new tire, as the manufacturer assures, improves performance in almost all parameters, primarily in terms of safety, i.e., handling and braking on wet surfaces, as well as resistance to aquaplaning. Thanks to this, the Passio 2 tire works perfectly, especially on Polish roads, in compact, mid-sized, and small cars. The new Passio ensures steering precision and driving safety.
The tire uses wavy tread blocks that increase the total length of the edges, which contributes to better grip when braking on wet surfaces. The stiffened construction of the tire – the carcass and blocks in the shoulder zone – improves the driver’s control over the vehicle while maintaining high driving comfort. Connectors in the central block merge the blocks in the main ribs and make the tread stiffer. As a result, the tread surface is in constant contact with the road, even during sharp turns.
The wide longitudinal grooves of the Dębica Passio 2 allow for easy water drainage, increasing resistance to aquaplaning, and the increased number of radial grooves improves the efficiency of water removal from the shoulder zone of the tire.
The Passio 2 tire is available in 12 key sizes, which covers 80% of the demand in the standard summer tire segment in Poland.
