The investment began at the turn of May and June 2010, and its expected completion date is the fourth quarter of this year. The tenants of the initiated investment are existing clients of the developer. ABRA S.A. will lease an area of 2,700 sqm. Including Panattoni Park Stryków, it occupies nearly 6,000 sqm of warehouse space in the developer’s parks. Pika Sp. z o.o. is one of the largest and most modern companies dealing with the management of paper and electronic documents. In the Pomeranian park, it will occupy an area of 1,800 sqm and nearly 3,700 sqm, counting other Panattoni Europe parks. Ultimately, Panattoni Park Gdańsk will consist of 3 buildings and will occupy an area of 43,400 sqm, which will account for one-third of the current warehouse space resources in the region.
– The Tri-City district is a relatively young warehouse market, and Gdańsk, where our park is located, is the largest port city and one of the most important economic centers in Poland. It is precisely with companies located in Pomerania in mind that we are investing in the construction of Panattoni Park Gdańsk, the location of which guarantees smooth service for the Tri-City market – said Bartłomiej Krawiecki, Managing Partner for Eastern Poland at Panattoni Europe.
– In connection with the subsequent openings of ABRA stores, we are modernizing our warehouse base, which is dictated by the need to continuously improve processes and increase productivity. Of course, the primary goal of these actions is to ensure an even higher level of service for our customers. The decision to continue cooperation with Panattoni also results from our previous, very good experiences at Panattoni Park Stryków – adds Marek Zelek, Logistics Director at ABRA S.A.
