The newly completed junction was built in a record-breaking time. Construction began at the start of July 2008, and work was finished in January 2009. The pace of the work sparked great enthusiasm among local residents, who did not expect the project to be finalized in half a year! Punctuality and efficiency are the hallmarks of Panattoni, which completes all its investments on time. As part of the road project, the developer rebuilt the communication system in the area of the investment, including the construction of a road junction on the S1 expressway, which connects it with provincial road No. 934. The junction will improve traffic at the intersection of the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway. The value of the road investment amounted to approximately 30 million PLN.
A junction for the city
The new road junction is a major improvement for the residents of the surrounding districts and the entire city. Thanks to the Panattoni investment, residents of the Brzezinka and Kosztowy districts will benefit from a collision-free and fast connection to the S1 road. Until now, the nearest exit was about 5 km away. The junction will also relieve heavy traffic that previously traveled through Kosztowska and Brzezińska streets, which was burdensome for residents. Thanks to the new investment, truck traffic to nearby businesses will be directed through the junction rather than through residential streets. Residents of the surrounding districts also praise the investor for building acoustic screens along Kosztowska Street. Thanks to the new junction, transit traffic will now flow smoothly in all directions. The Panattoni investment will improve traffic conditions and road safety in Mysłowice, and will also increase the investment attractiveness of neighboring plots.
Space for Clients
Panattoni Park Mysłowice will be one of the largest distribution centers in Poland. The massive center, which will consist of 7 buildings, is located near the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway. Upon completion of the final construction phase, the park will total 190,500 sqm. It is only 30 kilometers away from the Pyrzowice airport. The park’s location provides ideal conditions for domestic and international transport and easy access to a highly qualified workforce.
The first phase of the investment, commissioned in November 2007, consisted of 1 hall with an area of 20,000 sqm, which was entirely leased by ND Logistics. In the second phase of construction, in which the park will expand by 45,374 sqm, two more buildings are being finalized: Hall D with an area of 23,117 sqm and Hall C with an area of 22,256 sqm. Both halls will be available in Q1 2009. Subsequently, Hall G (33,415 sqm) will be built, scheduled for Q2 2009. In addition to ND Logistics, the Mysłowice center has been chosen by such major clients as DPD and Coca Cola.
