80 percent of all conferences and seminars are events occupying between 10 and 20 rooms, including conference halls. This is the market segment that HRS is targeting with its new tool. An event can be booked in 3 steps, which significantly shortens the entire process and reduces the associated costs.
Both clients and hotels will benefit, mainly through increased turnover, as conferences very often involve booking hotel rooms. At the same time, simplifying the entire process allows them to save a lot of time and money. For hotels with extensive conference infrastructure, this can mean saving up to eight hours of work per day. In addition to the benefits that clients gain from this service, it is also an interesting innovation for hotel chains.
Currently, the HRS system includes over 32,000 conference hotels worldwide. By the end of the year, half of them should be integrated into the tool that enables online conference booking.
Direct conference booking is very simple: on the website http://www.hrs.pl/, go to the “Conferences” section. Then select the location, date, and hotel category, as well as additional criteria such as “city hotel” or the hotel’s distance from the train station/airport/public transport stops, and provide the number of participants and the conference budget per person and per room. On the next page, you must specify the requirements regarding table arrangements, equipment, and the maximum conference budget. After performing these steps, a list of hotels that meet the specified criteria will be displayed.
The service also displays data such as the hotel’s location, photos, detailed information about rooms, and up to 30 conference rooms, which can prove extremely helpful. HRS is setting a new service standard by defining the terms of deposits and cancellation policies, as well as elements of the conference offer. When booking an event, you can order additional services, e.g., renting a projector. If the hotel suits the client, the latter can book it immediately.
