In connection with the upcoming All Saints’ Day, passengers using PKP Intercity services will be able to choose from dozens of connections operated under the Express InterCity, Express, or TLK brands. It will be possible to reach the country’s largest cities – Warsaw, Poznań, Kraków, the Tri-City, or Wrocław – using, among others, the highest category Express InterCity or Express trains. Especially for those planning a holiday trip to Zakopane, an additional “Tatry” express connection will be launched from Warsaw.
Between the Tri-City and Kraków, via Warsaw and Toruń, an additional night TLK connection will operate on October 28/29, 30/31, November 1/2, and 4/5. The train will include 1st and 2nd class seating carriages. Whenever technically possible, PKP Intercity will add extra carriages to trains experiencing the highest demand. Additional carriages will be included, for example, on trains running between the Tri-City and Szczecin, Warsaw and Katowice and Poznań, Bydgoszcz and Lublin, or Szczecin and Przemyśl.
PKP Intercity will also extend the validity of its popular weekend ticket offers by an additional pre-holiday Monday, October 31st. Travelers choosing domestic PKP Intercity connections will be able to use the “Bilet Podróżnika” (Traveler’s Ticket) or “Bilet Weekendowy” (Weekend Ticket) between Friday, October 28th (from 7:00 PM) and Wednesday, November 2nd (until 6:00 AM).
The carrier’s weekend offers are personal tickets entitling the holder to an unlimited number of journeys. The “Bilet Podróżnika”, for 69 PLN in 2nd class or 99 PLN in 1st class, entitles the holder to travel on all TLK trains in seating carriages. A passenger choosing the “Bilet Weekendowy” can use, in addition to TLK connections, Express InterCity and Express trains. This offer costs 149 PLN in 2nd class or 239 PLN in 1st class. For travel on trains requiring mandatory seat reservations, a seat reservation must be purchased.
For those traveling with children under 16, the carrier offers the “Bilet Rodzinny” (Family Ticket). This offer allows for a 33% discount for each person traveling. The discount applies to travel in 1st and 2nd class on Twoje Linie Kolejowe (TLK), Express Intercity, Express, and EuroCity trains for groups of two to five people, where at least one child is under 16 years of age. The child may use their individual statutory discount.
Detailed information regarding timetables, promotional offers, and statutory discounts can be found on the carrier’s website www.intercity.pl.
