UPS has announced a new management structure for UPS in Poland, following the acquisition of Messenger Service Stolica SA by UPS in April 2005. The new management team consists of ten senior managers, selected from both UPS Poland and Stolica.
Krzysztof Zdziarski will serve as the General Manager of UPS in Poland. Krzysztof began his career at UPS in 1999 as Operations Director. In April 2001, he was appointed to the position of General Manager. He played a key role in preparing the UPS strategy in connection with Poland’s accession to the European Union in May 2004 and oversaw the merger of UPS and Stolica. His first task in the expanded UPS in Poland will be to complete the merger of the two companies, followed by the full integration of the new structure.
Appointments for the nine other management positions have also been announced, including Piotr Sitarek from UPS, who takes on the role of Operations Director, and Robert Trendak from Stolica, who becomes Sales Director.
The new management team will focus, among other things, on unifying the service portfolio, consolidating operations, and finally, fully integrating the various functions of both companies into one cohesive UPS brand across Poland.
