– We needed more warehouse space to handle shipments. Over the last 3 years, their number has more than doubled – says Renata Pielorz, Southern Region Manager, TNT Express Poland.
The new warehouse has an area of nearly 1,500 square meters and is significantly larger than the previous one. It is equipped with 10 gates and 2 docks. The operational solutions applied here allow for 30% faster loading, unloading, and sorting of shipments. Advanced technological solutions used in handling international and domestic shipments play an important role here. Importantly, the entire building housing the transshipment center is at the exclusive disposal of TNT. The remaining part, i.e., 400 square meters, consists of office and social areas.
The investment has not yet resulted in an increase in employment – currently, nearly 100 employees (sales representatives, customer service staff, operational staff, and couriers) are associated with the branch.
