The Shell FuelSave Partner system automatically integrates information contained on euroShell fuel cards with technology installed in the vehicle and a central database. On one hand, it enables fuel cost reduction by pointing out opportunities for improvements in vehicle performance and thereby contributing to improving drivers’ driving style. On the other, it ensures automatic calculation of CO2 emissions per tonne-kilometer related to fuel consumption. As Shell experts point out, the new system, by eliminating the need for manual data entry, allows for the transparent provision of multidimensional knowledge to fleet operators regarding opportunities for improvements in fleet efficiency.
– We are aware of the low margins our customers work on, which is why we are constantly looking for ways to help them manage fuel costs – says Paulina Gołdzińska from Shell Poland. – Our solution allows for achieving up to 10% savings in this area, while simultaneously enabling effective monitoring of CO2 emissions related to fuel consumption. And this aspect will surely be appreciated by fleet managers who are under pressure to reduce the environmental impact of transport companies.
Shell FuelSave Partner is available as a subscription, without the need to incur any “upfront” costs. The system installation is quick, and fleet managers gain almost immediate access to detailed data and tips on reducing fuel costs and CO2 emissions.
