The developer has just completed the third phase of Panattoni Park Łódź East (17,000 sq m). Near Poznań, a building for Farmacol (5,400 sq m) and an eco-warehouse for H&M (30,000 sq m) are under construction. In Warsaw, a building for Torfarm (23,000 sq m) and the second phase of the center in Czeladź (20,000 sq m) are being built. Construction of Panattoni Park Toruń (30,000 sq m) for Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific, a branch of Nestle, will also begin soon. The completion of a facility in Gdańsk (7,000 sq m) is scheduled for the second quarter of 2010.
– We ended 2009 with a result of 250,000 sq m of leased warehouse space – says Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe at Panattoni Europe. – Taking into account our 4% vacancy rate, we are practically destined to continue expanding our parks. Just like in 2009, we will primarily focus on build-to-suit investments.
In 2010, the developer intends to focus on securing further BTS transactions and expanding existing locations. In Central Poland, this will be Łódź; in the Warsaw region: parks in Ożarów and Teresin; in Southern Poland: Gliwice, Czeladź, and Mysłowice; in Northern Poland: Gdańsk; and in Lower Silesia: Wrocław. Centers in the Czech Republic (Prague) and Slovakia (a new market in the portfolio since 2009) will also be developed, where the developer has started projects in the towns of Trnava and Senec.
