France is one of Poland’s most important trading partners in Europe. Cooperation between these countries is significant for both the export and import of goods. This is evident in the example of the logistics operator Schenker. The volume of shipments handled by the company to France increases every year. – This is because the cooperation between Schenker organizations in both countries is built on the principle of partnership while maintaining the highest quality of services and an attractive price, and all investments in development are undertaken jointly. – explains Ireneusz Boetcher, Product and Market Manager at Schenker Sp. z o.o.
The latest investment implemented between Schenker branches in Poland and France is a direct general cargo connection from Nantes to Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań.
– This investment will make the offer more attractive for customers by shortening the handling time for shipments sent on this route. – adds Ireneusz Boetcher.

Taking into account the new line from Nantes, Schenker currently offers its customers a total of eight regular general cargo connections per week from France to Polish terminals in Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań and Młochów near Warsaw. The logistics operator also operates regular connections to Poland from terminals in Paris, Lyon, and Strasbourg.
– In parallel, we are meeting the needs of our exporters by offering them five regular general cargo lines per week, which depart from Tarnowo Podgórne and reach our partner’s terminals in Paris, Strasbourg, and Lyon. – adds the Schenker expert.

The opening of the new general cargo connection between Nantes and Tarnowo Podgórne is, in line with customer expectations, another step by Schenker towards shortening delivery times across Europe.
