The foundation of the solution is the bcsTiger IT system created by BCS Polska, which supports warehouse operations and the management of an enterprise’s warehouse space. The program supports management at every level of warehouse operation – from receiving goods to providing business data for management. This system is dedicated to medium-sized enterprises, regardless of the industry, that want to implement or are already using automatic identification of goods and locations based on barcodes.
The second component of the solution is the icDispatcher platform (an IT tool) created by Income, which enables the creation and management of a mobile system. In conjunction with bcsTiger, icDispatcher enables, among other things, the control and management of external devices, e.g., terminals with built-in barcode readers, pocket PCs, and barcode printers. icDispatcher allows for the design of visualization and functionality of screens on external devices (mobile terminals) and the addition of new screens as needs change. Thanks to this, bcsTiger users can use the system directly on mobile terminals with a barcode reader.
The solution was created based on the experience gathered by both companies in projects carried out together for 6 years in the largest companies using automatic identification systems, e.g., Kulczyk Tradex, DHL, McLane, Browar Belgia, Polmos Józefów.
Particularly important for users of the solution is the close cooperation of both companies with SYMBOL Technologies – a global manufacturer of barcode scanners and mobile terminals. BCS Polska holds the highest status among SYMBOL Technologies business partners – the title of “Symbol Premier Business Partner”, and Income is a so-called ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partner – this partnership is addressed to independent manufacturers and suppliers of IT solutions. Thanks to this close cooperation, customers are guaranteed the adaptation of bcsTiger and the icDispatcher platform to the latest SYMBOL Technologies products and full technical support.
