PKP Szybka Kolej Miejska w Trójmieście Sp. z o.o. (Rapid Urban Railway in the Tri-City) operates approximately 281 urban trains per day on a working day, including on the railway line no. 250 (Gdańsk Główny – Rumia) which it manages and administers, representing one of the most important communication routes in the Tri-City. The SKM runs with an average frequency of every 7.5 minutes during peak hours and every 10-15 minutes off-peak. The company has 65 vehicles that serve a total of 51 stations. SKM transports approximately 38 million passengers annually on a 162 km route from Słupsk to Tczew. PKP SKM employs over 800 people. To improve work processes and management, it became necessary to acquire a modern and flexible tool in the HR and payroll area, enabling the automation of many processes and immediate access to data. The implementation of the Xpertis personnel system will be preceded by a needs analysis. The system will be the main tool supporting the budgeting and planning (simulation) process of PKP SKM employee salaries. In addition to standard operations related to HR administration and payroll calculation, the Xpertis system will support working time registration, training management, company social benefits fund handling, and medical examination registration. All data from this area will be made available to company employees through an employee portal. Each employee will have an individual, password-protected account, which they will be able to access via the Internet at any time. One of the most important tender requirements was to adapt the HR and payroll system to the regulations resulting from the collective labor agreements in force at the company. Consequently, the implemented Xpertis solution will store history for employees whose employment period was subject to other collective agreements that were in force at the former PP PKP. Additionally, Macrologic will ensure system modifications to maintain compliance with these regulations in the future.
