This year’s 6th edition of the conference is entitled ,,Flexible supply chains – concepts, experiences, challenges”. Its aim is to present Polish and foreign, especially German, experiences in the design and operation of modern supply chains capable of rapid reaction to changes in their environment. This extremely desirable feature of such complex systems as today’s functioning supply chains authorizes us to describe them as flexible, dynamic, and even intelligent.
. The conference continues the series of logistics conferences organized regularly on a biennial cycle since 1992.</p>

Supply chains owe this flexibility to the skillful application of the latest concepts in the organization of material and goods flows, as well as supporting IT and telecommunications solutions, increasingly delivered in the form of various electronic platforms. Standard and dedicated supporting tools – methodical and IT-based – as well as the widespread use of standards, especially communication standards, are also gaining increasing importance.
The speakers will be solution designers, their users in supply chains, as well as consultants and representatives of research and development centers with experience in implementation projects.
The LOGISTICS 2002 Conference will be – as always – an excellent opportunity not only to expand knowledge, but also to exchange logistics experiences. The organizers will certainly do everything to create the best possible conditions for the conference guests.
