LCL from the Far East in 25 days

Rohlig Poland offers a solution rarely seen on the Polish market, distinguished by a short transit time for sea LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments from the Far East. Shipments depart from every location once a week, and the delivery time, depending on the point of origin, ranges from 25 to approximately 30 days.

Typically, the weak point of traditionally organized sea LCL transport is the transshipment of goods from container to container, sometimes multiple times at various terminals, before reaching the final destination. The uniqueness of the solution proposed by Rohlig Poland lies in the fact that goods loaded into a container at the point of origin, e.g., Hong Kong, are transported via the port of Hamburg to a deconsolidation warehouse in Poland (Piaseczno near Warsaw) in the same container. This solution not only shortens transport time but also eliminates the risk of cargo damage. In the case of smaller Asian ports, Rohlig Poland’s offer consists of consolidated shipments to Hamburg, from where the cargo reaches the warehouse in Piaseczno via a daily road service.

Additionally, due to the direct delivery of the container from Hamburg to Poland, the customs clearance time is shortened, which in the case of transport via the port of Gdynia would take at least several days. A shipment delivered by Rohlig directly to the deconsolidation terminal in Piaseczno is cleared at an Authorized Place of the Customs Office and delivered via our own domestic distribution network to the recipient in Poland. While the entire process takes 25 to 30 days with Rohlig Poland, for comparison, the standard transport time organized via the port of Gdynia is 40 – 45 days.
