The most important element of this project is the preparation of appropriate specifications for truck orders. This means preparing templates not previously implemented in the incadea system in Poland. The ordering system must reflect the realities of truck orders – that is, the ability to order the vehicle frame itself and subsequently the elements necessary for its bodywork, as well as different types of a given model due to the various applications of the vehicle. The implementation will also include standard ERP system functionalities – finance and accounting, sales and marketing, warehouse, and purchasing. All these elements are adapted to the specifics of running a dealer sales network and authorized service centers. This means that thanks to incadea, DBK will be able to optimize the management process of new and used vehicle sales (analysis of the age of vehicles held, variety and level of inventory), manage the workshop more efficiently, and increase parts turnover. Highly specialized facilities offered by incadea – such as linking vehicle sales settlements with valuation systems for damaged and used vehicles (e.g., Eurotax or DAT) – make it the optimal DMS system chosen by dealers of both passenger cars and trucks.
The system installed by IT.integro must be very efficient, as it will support at least 100 concurrent users. The system installation on the server must also be carefully developed, as the entire database of all branches will be located in one location – the headquarters – while the connection will take place via a terminal. The implementation is taking place at a very dynamic pace, and the system launch is scheduled for the beginning of January 2009.
