The offer of the Poznań-based company Comp-Win, specializing in optimal IT solutions for Logistics, has been expanded within the integrated SOZ system to include a module for managing freight forwarding and rail transport.
The freight forwarding and rail transport management module not only enables simple administration of all types of rail orders – loaded wagons, empty wagons, wagon groups, full train sets, or entire rolling stock – but also provides planning and optimization of loading, unloading, and transshipment routes, as well as management of intermodal orders. The rail module also includes the following functionalities, which are essential for entrepreneurs: cost accounting and recording, order status management, tariff handling, notification handling – trains/wagons, carrier contract management, and management of information sequences: Client, Carrier, Offer, Contract, Orders, Shipping Instructions, Wagon, Goods, Shipping Documents, Sales Documents, Costs, Revenue, Result.
The introduced changes are a response to the growing market need and are intended to meet the expectations of both freight forwarding companies and the clients using their services, including in terms of receiving detailed information related to rail shipments.
