This coming Friday, events popularizing science and research and development work will begin across Europe. Thanks to the joint efforts of the Poznan University of Technology and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, the event under the banner of “Researchers’ Night” will also take place in Poznan.
Researchers’ Night is a series of meetings, demonstrations, scientific experiments, workshops, and presentations that show science in a new light. On September 28, there will be demonstrations of physical experiments, aerodynamic paradoxes, and the application of magnetic forces and optics. Additionally, it will be possible to view the latest computer network devices and machines that process terabytes of data.
– Modern computer networks enable not only lightning-fast communication but, above all, new services such as remote laboratories or the combining of distributed computing power for the most advanced research experiments – says Maciej Stroiński, Technical Director of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

All events will take place on September 28 at the Lecture Center building of the Poznan University of Technology and at the Science Center of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
The event is organized by the Poznan University of Technology and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. It is funded by the European Union.
