Flotis is a system that allows for vehicle tracking using a website and a mobile device placed in the monitored vehicle. The service is intended for small, medium, and large commercial, distribution, transport, service, and municipal companies. Its use allows, among other things, for controlling the fleet, optimizing vehicle operating costs, effectively supervising employee efficiency, and monitoring delivery punctuality.
The main advantage of Flotis is the low operating cost of the system. The monitoring device is not permanently installed in the tracked vehicle, and data presentation takes place on a website.
–Thanks to this, the client avoids the costs of installing devices in the vehicle. They also do not need to buy or lease specialized computer software – says Dawid Nowicki, CEO of Neptis, the manufacturer of Flotis. – The only cost is the purchase of a mobile monitoring device, which can, however, be used in different vehicles according to current needs, and a low subscription fee of around a dozen zlotys.
A Flotis user can track their fleet on a computer screen via a web browser and a special, secure online service. Thanks to the monitoring device, powered by a standard car cigarette lighter socket, it is possible to track vehicles throughout Poland. Data is presented on a map in real-time. Flotis also enables the analysis of historical data online. The user can review routes and vehicle speeds from the last 30 calendar days. If necessary, data can be exported to specialized analytical programs. The monitoring device is portable and very easy to use. The only action the driver needs to perform is connecting it to a power source.
Flotis is a proprietary solution from the Poznań-based company Neptis, which is also the manufacturer of the monitoring device.
