The awarded emblem confirms that Siódemka meets legal requirements regarding environmental protection, incorporating ecological criteria into its development strategy.
• Monitors ecological economic efficiency, which means it minimizes energy and raw material consumption. It reduces the consumption of raw materials used in the transport of goods by using transport cages for shipping parcels.
• Practices selective waste management, evaluating it through the prism of resource conservation and the reduction of generated waste and its emissions. It has implemented an internal system for the selective collection of packaging waste, such as stretch film, waste paper, or wooden packaging. It encourages the recycling of company packaging, which was designed with recycling in mind. Each of Siódemka’s company packages has been marked with the label: “Let’s take care of the natural environment. The packaging is recyclable.”
• Implements investments aimed at minimizing negative environmental impact, such as: the successive replacement of its own vehicle fleet with vehicles with EURO-4 homologation and sets high requirements for subcontractors in this regard (the minimum acceptable exhaust emission standards for freight vehicles is Euro 3).
