The ranking in question presents data on the size of the e-commerce market, the customer profile, as well as the most important information about the structure of online stores. The e-commerce market consists of over 7,000 online stores. The research was conducted at the turn of June and July 2009. The survey contained 35 questions regarding sales organization, marketing, IT infrastructure, logistics, as well as financial results and prospects for the coming years. Representatives of 7,000 online stores answered the questions.

Customers of online stores cannot see or touch the goods they are buying with their own eyes, and after completing the transaction, they still have to wait for delivery. Their requirements regarding the quality of service are therefore exceptionally high.
In addition to quality and punctuality, UPS provides its customers with technologically advanced tools that facilitate and maximize the reduction of shipping documentation preparation, provide the ability to constantly monitor sent packages, and automatically inform about successful delivery. These applications can be additionally synchronized with the customer’s warehouse software so that the entire process is fast and transparent.
– This is not the first expression of recognition for UPS in this area. In August, Computer Reseller News published the results of the CRN Poland barometer, which showed that UPS is the best courier company serving the computer industry – the largest group of respondents indicated UPS as the company providing services of the highest quality – adds Grzegorz Urban.
