DSV Road has expanded its offer to include full truckload transport in controlled temperatures. Means of transport with a load capacity from 1.5 to 22 tons, adapted for the transport of goods in controlled temperatures from -25°C to +25°C, have become a permanent part of the DSV fleet.
For many years, DSV Road has been carrying out transport of goods in controlled temperatures to CIS countries, specializing particularly in shipments to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Belarus.
– Our previous experience in Eastern markets and the growing demand from customers encouraged us to create a specialized refrigerated transport unit and to expand our range of controlled-temperature transport services to include further destinations – says Aneta Kawka, Director of the DSV Road Ołtarzew Branch. – The number of transports we carry out is increasing month by month, and we are also gaining more customers using this type of service. Good results in this area encourage us to systematically increase the number of carriers contracted to handle refrigerated transport.
The main directions where refrigerated transport is currently being carried out are CIS countries, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Great Britain, and Hungary. To Southern Europe, i.e., to Greece, Italy, and Spain, DSV guarantees fixed transport rates, independent of seasonal price fluctuations on the market.
