The continuity of investment plans is possible thanks to the implementation of a well-thought-out strategic policy. At the beginning of March, another investment was completed – the branch in Toruń was moved to a new location. The DPD Polska Toruń branch now occupies 1,359 sq m of office and warehouse space (258 sq m office, 1,101 sq m warehouse), 33 courier gates, and 3 loading docks. The value of the investment over the lease period will exceed 2 million PLN. In the new Toruń headquarters, nearly 50 people, including over 30 couriers, serve customers every day.
– Thanks to the larger warehouse area and more modern equipment, operational processes run faster and more efficiently – comments Krzysztof Rawski, manager of the Toruń branch. – The expansion has improved working conditions at the branch (dust-free flooring, social rooms, spacious offices), and the modern CCTV system has increased the safety of employees and shipments. This long-awaited change has improved working conditions at the branch and will undoubtedly translate into the comfort and efficiency of our work, and thus into the satisfaction of our customers.
