Medicover and Centrum Medyczne Damiana have decided to lease a total of 1,500 sq m of high-class warehouse and office space at the Ideal Idea Park business center in Okęcie. Ideal Idea Park is a logistics and office center located near the Warsaw Chopin Airport. The warehouse complex is currently under construction. The planned completion date for the second phase of the project is the end of June 2010. Medicover is an international medical company, one of the largest private networks of its kind in Poland, which cares for a group of over 300,000 patients and more than 5,000 companies. The company offers comprehensive medical care: from diagnostic tests, through occupational medicine, consultations with primary care physicians and specialists, outpatient procedures, physiotherapy, preventive check-ups, dental services, and emergency services, to full-profile hospital care. Medicover has been operating for 15 years and has facilities in the country’s largest cities. It also boasts the first full-profile private Medicover Hospital, located in Warsaw’s Wilanów district. Centrum Medyczne Damiana is a private healthcare facility operating on the market since 1994. Since 2009, it has been part of the Medicover Group. The facility has a 40-bed hospital with its own obstetrics and gynecology department, performing surgeries and procedures in areas including one-day surgery, urology, and laryngology. In addition to its hospital, Centrum Medyczne Damiana also has four modernly equipped outpatient centers. Over 600 people work at CMD, including nearly 300 doctors. In the transaction, both companies were represented by Colliers International, a commercial real estate advisor.
