Changes in the management structure of DHL Express

Aleksander Morozowski, serving as the President of the Management Board of DHL Express Poland, has taken on the position of Managing Director of the new Central Europe region and Member of the Management Board of the DHL Express Europe division.

Previously operating within the European structures of the DHL Express division, the Central Europe region comprised seven countries. As a result of the restructuring, it has been divided into two independent sub-regions – Central Europe and Austria with Switzerland. The new sub-region – Central Europe, which will be headed by Aleksander Morozowski, will consist of five countries – Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary. The implemented changes are the result of the consistently executed strategy of dynamic business development of the DHL group and a response to changing market expectations. The creation of 2 sub-regions is another important step towards strengthening DHL Express’s position in the European logistics services market.

The position of President of the Management Board of DHL Express Poland will be assumed by Tomasz Buraś starting February 1st of this year. Within the company’s structures, he served as Vice President of Operations from 2003-2007, responsible for the development and functioning of the domestic and international DHL Express transport network in Poland.
