From October 11 to 15, Hanover will host the largest logistics industry meeting in Europe this year. According to the organizer, Deutsche Messe AG, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from around the world had confirmed their participation in the fair by the end of August. The organizers owe this record to an attractive formula for presenting the latest achievements in logistics, the impressive dynamics of the preparations, and large-scale marketing activities.
As in previous years, it will be possible to get acquainted with the entire spectrum of modern logistics in Hanover, ranging from presentations of warehouse technology equipment, through the offer of information systems, to comprehensive logistics solutions that streamline supply chain management. The group of exhibitors includes global leaders in the field of internal transport equipment and systems, handling and storage equipment, logistics software, packaging technology, and system suppliers. Industry giants such as Still, Jungheinrich, SSI Schäfer, Siemens, and Vanderlande have confirmed their presence at the fair. Of the 1,000 exhibitors, 55% are German companies, 38% are companies from other European countries, 5% are exhibitors from Asia, and 2% are exhibitors from North America.An attraction for visitors to the CEMAT fair will be a series of thematic conferences under the common slogan “Internal Logistics Forum”. The Forum program will include, among others, the following topics:
- information technologies,
- IT for logistics,
- supply logistics,
- storage technology,
- logistics parks,
- telematics.
