The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate provides benefits especially for Damco’s clients. Holding this certificate guarantees facilitation in carrying out all activities requiring contact with customs authorities; it speeds up the processing of submitted applications and customs clearances. It also confirms the implementation of procedures aimed at faster and more efficient customs service for the company’s clients. The AEO status, granted by Customs Chambers in Poland, is recognized in all European Union countries. Mlog AC has been using the AEO Certificate since November 16, 2010. It confirms the company’s reliability in economic turnover and compliance with rigorous requirements. Receiving the certificate involved successfully passing an audit procedure, during which the following were checked: processes related to the performance of Customs Agency activities, IT systems, and accounting and financial matters. As part of its comprehensive customs service, Mlog AC / Damco has also been offering a product for over a year called simplified customs clearance with the possibility of VAT settlement in the tax return. This service gives importers the opportunity to settle VAT directly in the tax return without the need to pay it to the customs office in advance.
