At every step in the infrastructure of logistics processes, we encounter components as well as entire devices made of plastic. These include various types of covers, elements of so-called building joinery, housings for IT equipment, etc.
Among auxiliary devices such as loading pallets or transport crates, plastics are gaining increasing popularity. This is hardly surprising, as pallets and crates made of plastic are characterized by:
• high aesthetic quality with the simultaneous possibility of advertising the products being moved or the company whose products they contain,
• aesthetics maintained during operation,
• high susceptibility to cleaning, which allows for maintaining appropriate hygiene conditions,
• the possibility of direct contact with products, and furthermore, they are an excellent source of secondary raw materials. After being withdrawn from service, they can be processed into granulate and reused.
