Organizing and moving heavy and oversized loads is among the most complex activities carried out by transport/freight forwarding companies.
Both in Poland and in many European countries, we are increasingly seeing an increase in requirements related to granting permits for the road transport of heavy and oversized loads, including those concerning the technical condition of the specialized rolling stock used for these transports. Consequently, the demand for transport consulting services has also increased.
The aim of the authors of this article is to systematize the issues related to the organization and execution of the transport of such loads.
